Privacy and recommendations
What the “Recommended for you” section uses, and how you stay in control of it.
What we collect
Once you consent, we record: which listings you open, which ones you stayed on for more than 30 seconds, the criteria you submit when you search (type, buy/rent, province, district, price range, size range), and the listings you save or mark as not interested. We do not store the keywords you type. Free text can carry personal details and it does not help the recommendations.
What it is used for
Only to order the listings shown in the “Recommended for you” and “Similar listings” sections. Not for advertising elsewhere, and never shared with third parties.
Who it is tied to
Before you sign in, it is tied to a random id in a cookie in this browser (rw_vid), which does not identify you directly. When you sign in, that history is moved onto your account and counts as personal data from then on.
How long we keep it
Browsing data is deleted automatically after 180 days, and its weight already halves every 14 days — anything older than roughly six months no longer affects what you are shown. This is separate from the service access log that Thai law requires us to keep for at least 90 days. That is a different set of records and is not used for recommendations.
Turning it off or deleting it
Use the settings box beside this. Turning it off at the account level deletes everything collected at the same time: the browsing events, the saved and dismissed listings, and the profile already derived from them. If you decline from the start, no visitor id is issued at all, so there is nothing to collect.
